The final two episodes of Taylor Swift’s docuseries aired on Disney+, and they revealed some new tidbits regarding some personal moments between her and Travis Kelce. One anecdote, which was in the closing moments of her doc, proved to be a heartwarming one for the pop star. In it, Swift shares a handwritten note from Travis Kelce, where he revealed the impact of seeing her on tour for the first time in Kansas City. The Eras Tour, which ran from March 17, 2023, through December 8, 2024, crossed continents and broke records. The documentary has been a refreshing insight into how the show was and both the physical and emotional challenges of it. However, the finale, where this moment was shown, is surely to be the main highlight of the docuseries, as it also left Swift tear-eyed and emotional.

The documentary’s final episode turns inward as the tour and an era come to a close

The last episode, titled Remember This Moment, follows Swift during the final stretch of the tour, which concluded with three shows in Vancouver. Rather than focusing on the usual fanfare and the show, it focused on interactions and moments with family members, dancers, vocalists, and longtime crew members. It also highlighted how Swift’s personal life evolved during the tour, including her relationship with NFL star Travis Kelce, which developed in parallel with the shows. In one of the most intimate scenes, Swift reads a note Kelce wrote ahead of the final week of performances. The letter read, “So many unbelievable memories on this tour, but my favorite one is seeing you in concert for the first time, being mesmerized and swept off my feet by a woman who doesn’t even know me.” The next part of the letter certainly made the star swoon as Kelce expressed his gratitude for bringing the tour to Kansas City, and their relationship blossomed from there. Swift read, “I selfishly say thank you for creating this legendary tour, and to Robert (Robert Allen, Taylor’s tour manager) for making you stop through Kansas City, Missouri. That night two in KC was the beginning of me meeting the love of my life.” As she finished reading, Swift was seen laughing and visibly emotional. She exclaimed, “Awww, my god. So much for no emotions on the last three shows, huh?” she says. It proved to be a heartfelt ending to the doc, reframing the Eras Tour not just as a cultural milestone but as a deeply human experience for her and Kelce, where they found each other through it.
