Air India Express will restart operations to and from Muscat on Tuesday, March 3, following a temporary suspension due to the ongoing Middle East conflict, the Tata Group‑owned airline said in a statement on Monday.Services to Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the UAE will remain suspended until 23.59 hours IST on March 3, it added, news agency PTI reported.
The airline will resume scheduled flights between Muscat and Indian cities including Delhi, Kochi, Kozhikode, Mangaluru, Mumbai and Tiruchirappalli. The first flight to operate will be the Muscat–Tiruchirappalli service, departing at 1025 hours local time on Tuesday.The statement further noted that many airspaces in the Middle East are closed due to the conflict involving the US, Israel and Iran, which has impacted flight operations.
