‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge’ may just be gearing up for record-breaking numbers at the box office when it hits theatres on March 19. The Aditya Dhar directorial, starring Ranveer Singh in the lead, which has yet to release its trailer, has generated enough buzz to set it on the path to earn over USD 1 million in advance ticket sales in its debut weekend.

According to data from Venky Box Office, the film registered another strong day in advance bookings, with opening day ticket sales estimated to have seen a USD 100K boost in just 24 hours, reaching an estimated USD 430K on Thursday. After crossing the USD 500K mark for its weekend total, the film has now reportedly generated a total of USD 800K from advance sales. The highly anticipated second part of the spy thriller has thus set itself up for a good opening overseas, with the numbers inching towards the USD 1 million mark with still 13 days to go before its release.

‘Dhurandhar 2’ trailer to release tomorrow

As per reports, the film saw a boost in advance sales following the postponement of the Yash starrer, ‘Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups’. The film bowed out of a clash to opt for a June 4, 2026 release. With the trailer set for its release tomorrow, March 7, it remains to be seen if the clip will send fans rushing to cinemas to get their tickets to watch the second part on the big screen.

‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge’ will battle it out against ‘Dhurandhar’ to take the box office throne for the highest-earning Indian release in the US.
