He is a 63-year-old wealthy Indian-origin restaurateur with a string of fine-dining restaurants to his name. On the face of it, he does not fit the profile of a man accused of drugging a woman he considered a friend.
Yet Vikas Nath, an Indian-origin businessman linked to a portfolio of restaurants in the UK and Spain — including two with Michelin stars — is currently on trial in London, accused of spiking a woman’s drink at a nightclub two years ago.
