KOCHI: IMD has issued a yellow alert in Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Pathanamthitta, Kottayam, and Idukki for Sunday as several parts of the Kerala experienced moderate to heavy rainfall. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) stated that Kerala will continue to receive rainfall over the next two days due to a low-pressure area over the southwest Bay of Bengal and the adjoining equatorial Indian Ocean. Residents have been advised to exercise caution and stay updated on weather warnings.
