Nepal elections results 2026: Full list of winners

Six months after Nepal’s Gen-Z uprising on Friday results for the country’s parliamentary polls were announced. Early results 2026 elections show the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) making significant gains in the capital and across the country, securing three parliamentary seats in Kathmandu and leading in more than 110 constituencies nationwide, according to figures cited by The Kathmandu Times.RSP leader Blendra Shah himself is leading from the constituency of Jhapa-5 against former PM KP Sharma Oli by over 10,000 votes.

RSP wins key Kathmandu seats

The RSP won three constituencies in Kathmandu under Bagmati province.Ranju Neupane won from Kathmandu–1, securing 15,455 votes and defeating her nearest rival by 9,091 votes.Shishir Khanal won from Kathmandu–6, receiving 27,916 votes and registering a victory margin of 21,249.In Kathmandu–8, Biraj Bhakta Shrestha secured 24,592 votes, winning the seat with a margin of 21,375 votes.

Dahal wins in Lumbini province

The Nepali Communist Party secured one seat in Lumbini province, while leading in more than eight constituencies.Former prime minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal won from Rukum East–1, securing 10,240 votes and defeating his opponent by 6,778 votes.

Nepali Congress wins two seats in Gandaki

The Nepali Congress has secured two seats in Gandaki province, while also leading in more than eight constituencies.Tek Bahadur Gurung won from Manang–1 with 2,415 votes, registering a victory margin of 1,961.In Mustang–1, Yogesh Gauchan Thakali won the seat with 3,307 votes, defeating his rival by 1,501 votes.Vote counting is continuing across multiple constituencies.
