Ranchi: In a move to make the city encroachment-free, the Ranchi Municipal Corporation (RMC) on Wednesday carried out land demarcation along Karbala Tank Road and Church Road.The exercise’s primary aim is to identify the exact limits of the RMC jurisdiction before initiating action against the unauthorised constructions.Civic teams marked the boundaries and documented permanent and temporary structures along the stretch. Officials said the demarcation work will continue up to Bahu Bazar to ensure the entire area falls within verified municipal limits.Municipal authorities stated that once the survey is completed and records verified, an eviction drive will be launched to remove structures found encroaching on public land, following due procedure.The initiative is part of the corporations ongoing efforts to regulate city land use and prevent illegal encroachments.
