Most astrologers are not aware that the moment they start to engage with astrology, Asariras (or entities without a body) observe them intently from their realm. These entities don’t want to connect with earthly beings thereby remaining independent. Connecting with worldly beings is painful for them. This brings back in them the memories of their lives with a gross body. This interferes with their independence.

Sadhana is a process wherein an earthly being becomes independent of the influence of the Asariras. Going out of the control of the mechanism of Tantra. The cosmic governance system gradually loses control over the Sadhaka. What we call enlightenment is a situation where the Asariras can no more control an earthly being. It can safely be said that the process of Sadhana is a war. Asariras trying not to lose the grip and the Sadhaka gradually getting out of their grip. As Sadhana progresses towards enlightenment, this grip loosens increasingly. The Sadhaka increasingly gets disinterested in worldly affairs.

Astrology is a situation, where, the Sadhaka retains his engagement with the worldly affairs in spite of this grip getting loosened. The aim of the astrologer is to help the worldly beings to understand their Gunas (Characteristics) and practice Sadhana most suitable for the individual. Advanced Sadhakas even help Asariras to get out of the grip (Karma) they are in. The astrologer has no option but to remain engaged with the worldly affairs. This the astrologers don’t know and realise. They consider astrology as any other profession to earn an income. This they should refrain from.

Why?

Materialistic engagements of Sadhakas, including helping others for spirituality, interferes with the Karma of Asariras. This the Asariras (sometimes misunderstood as Asuras) don’t like. Many times, Sadhakas face the wrath of Asariras for material engagements. Sadhana protects the Sadhakas from the wrath of Asariras. Astrologers face this the most in the present life and also after death. The astrologers engaged in material pursuits are particularly targeted by Asariras after death, also during current life. Their experience, particularly after death becomes very painful. These astrologers get increasingly bound by Karma Bandhna (Bondage) instead of the grip loosening. This is termed as Adhogami or Patita. The astrologers engaged in spiritual pursuits are protected by Daivas (Debatas) even after death.

The sooner the astrologers understand this, the better it is for them. Sadly, they fail to understand their own horoscope. The Asariras suck them gradually into their fold intensely. Or should I say, they are fated to be doomed. The astrologers know for sure that the journey of life can’t be limited to one birth and one death. It is a continuum. What they don’t know is that the life after death is almost as material as the present life. The intention and the deeds give material dividend even after death. The difference is timeline. While the time spent in this life is about 100 years, the time spent in-between death and another birth is far too stressed.

The material nature between death to birth is different from between birth and death. The inclination and intention in the human form gets dragged into life after death. This clinging causes a lot of pain after death. Additionally, the Asariras cause more pain. This becomes unbearable unless backed by Sadhana and without the protection of the Daivas. The astrologer gets sucked into the realm of pain inflicting Asariras.

While practicing astrology, a give and take relationship is highly detrimental for the astrologer. Especially on two accounts.

  1. The capacity of the astrologer depends on which principle to choose, from the various alternatives available. For example, for Aquarius Lagna, Mercury is the 5th lord and the 8th lord. How will Mercury behave? The astrologer calls out from his memory the various principles available. The choosing of the principles depends on the Daivas and the Asriras. It is their prompting to the astrologer that chooses what to rely upon. If the astrologer is aligned to the materialistic concerns of the Daivas and Asariras, the prompting is accurate. However, if the astrologer is aligned to his/her materialistic concerns, then the prompting becomes inaccurate.
  2. If the concern of the astrologer is ‘give and take’, then the Asariras also try to establish a give and take relationship. This mostly has negative consequences for the astrologer. The demand of the Asariras contests with the needs and desires of the materialistic astrologer. The food that the Asariras require, that they seek from the astrologer, propels the astrologer to do things that not only creates obstacles for astrology but also for the needs and desires of the astrologer. This becomes a vicious circle, where both the astrologer and the Asariras stand to loose or deviate from the desired path to disentangle from the forces of nature.

One doesn’t get to become an astrologer if the past Karma or the deeds don’t push in this direction. This can easily be ascertained from the horoscope of the astrologer. But the astrologer fails to read his own horoscope properly. Until the point the astrologer correctly reads his horoscope, he should engage in Sadhana. Once the astrologer understands his own horoscope, he may embark on reading other horoscopes. Without this the astrologer is likely to fall into the trap of Tantra.

It is important to understand the mechanism of Tantra. Tantra, in simplistic way, may be said as the governing mechanism of Nature or how nature is administered. The nature that governs Humans, Asariras and Daivas are different. Therefore, the Tantra associated with these three are also different. The purpose of Tantra is to elevate one from the shackles of nature. It’s like someone sitting on a mountain top watching nature playing its games below.

Nature can be compared to parents. A child doesn’t know what to do, what to eat, how much to sleep, how to defecate etc. But these are extremely essential. The parents teach a child on these. Similarly, nature teaches Humans, Asariras and the Daivas to act on a desired path. After a certain age, the parents leave their children to fend for themselves. Almost exactly, Nature also leaves humans to act individually. But humans can’t do that because they are controlled by Asariras and Daivas. Here comes the FREEWILL. The freewill is to liberate oneself from the forces of nature.  To understand how nature works and is administered.

The seers say, be attentive, observe and become a witness. But for what and observe what and become a witness of what? The answer is Nature. This is the beginning of Sadhana. By living one’s own nature, observing it attentively and witnessing nature, one gradually, automatically but surely escapes from Nature’s rules and forces of Nature. Trap of Tantra or the automatic mechanism (punarapi jananam, punarapi maranam: Repeated births and deaths) is transcended. After beating the trap of Tantra, birth and death of a human is by his/her own sweet will, not a nature’s compulsion.

A materialistic astrologer compromises with his freewill only to be increasingly controlled by Nature with its vagaries.

Freewill is not choosing from among different brands, freewill is not to change one’s future, free will is not ability to interfere. It is that what no one else can interfere with. Freewill is the erg, will and the act to do away with the shackles of nature or the Trap of Tantra and be utterly independent.

I am giving two horoscopes to examine:

  1. Time of Birth: 2:57 AM
Date of Birth: 28th April 1968
Place of Birth: Bhubaneswar, Odisha, India
  2. Time of Birth: 4:37 PM
Date of Birth: 27th August 2003
Place of Birth: Cuttack, Odisha, India

Deliberately, precise seconds have not been given. We will examine these for freewill, spirituality and enlightenment subsequently.
