‘My friend ended up trying his luck with the girl I liked’

Recalling his first crush during school, Bobby admitted that he was too shy to speak to the girl himself.“I liked a girl, but I couldn’t talk to her. So I asked a friend of mine, who used to talk to everyone, to go and say hello on my behalf. He went and spoke to her, but eventually he started trying his luck with her himself,” Bobby told Amar Ujala with a laugh. The actor revealed that the incident happened when he was in the ninth standard. The blood donation plan that didn’t work out

He recalled how the girl approached students in a library seeking blood donors for her ailing father.“Her father was very ill and she came asking if anyone could donate blood. I immediately said, ‘Yes, I’ll come.’ I thought maybe something good would come out of it,” he joked. However, things did not go according to plan. Bobby remembered watching others donate blood and becoming nervous after seeing the large needles.“I was sitting there and watching people donate blood. The needle looked huge and I got scared. When my turn came, they checked my blood pressure and it was high. They told me I couldn’t donate blood,” he said.Although he failed to donate, Bobby laughed that at least he had shown up.“I told myself, ‘At least I came. The impression I wanted to create, I created it.’”

A shy boy behind the star

The Animal actor said he was an extremely shy child who never enjoyed school much and rarely got involved in mischief.“I was very quiet. I never really liked going to school. I wasn’t the kind of kid who played pranks or got into trouble,” he said.
