The unexpected meeting brought back memories of their collaboration on the 2011 romantic comedy ‘Dil Toh Baccha Hai Ji’. The director later took to social media to share a picture from the airport café, expressing his happiness at meeting the composer after many years.

Sharing the photograph with Pritam, Madhur Bhandarkar reflected on the memorable soundtrack that accompanied ‘Dil Toh Baccha Hai Ji’. He wrote, “Look who I ran into at #Mumbaiairport! A look back at ‘Dil Toh Baccha Hai Ji’
Released in 2011, ‘Dil Toh Baccha Hai Ji’ was co-written and directed by Madhur Bhandarkar. The romantic comedy featured Ajay Devgn, Emraan Hashmi, and Omi Vaidya in the lead roles. The supporting cast included Shazahn Padamsee, Shruti Haasan, Rituparna Sengupta, Tisca Chopra, and Shraddha Das. The story followed three friends, Naren, Abhay, and Milind who shared a house in Mumbai while navigating complicated relationships and different stages of love. The soundtrack composed by Pritam became one of the memorable aspects of the film.
‘The Wives’ marks Bhandarkar’s next directorial
Madhur Bhandarkar is now focused on his upcoming film ‘The Wives’, which boasts an ensemble cast including Sonali Kulkarni, Mouni Roy, Regina Cassandra, Rahul Bhatt, Saurabh Sachdeva, and Arjan Bajwa. Expectations are really high for the ace filmmaker’s upcoming project. His last directorial ventures were ‘India Lockdown’, released on December 2, 2022, and ‘Babli Bouncer’, which also arrived in 2022.
